Whilst having lived as, among other things, a musician, painter, martial artist and educator, Onyx is more Take Five than ‘i5 and writes mainly from research and imagination.
In the midst of working on long form novels he occasionally blogs, tweets and contributes to the spybrary podcast.
Parts of his personal journey are detailed in the medley dadless- a memoir, which was published through Microdot Books in 2019.

Onyx is always at it, immersed in the whole process, as evidenced in the pop-art section of the site.
