Andy Onyx was born some time ago in West Yorkshire, of English, Irish and Jamaican heritage. He was raised shortly after in the small seaside town of Skegness, Lincolnshire, on the bracing east-coast of the UK.
He is married and has been based in London for over 24 years.
The on page journey began with the medley memoir dadless- inde published through Microdot Books in 2019, and now available in paperback, kindle and audio (narrated by Andy).

Then came the BARBELL trilogy of spy/fiction novels 👇🏼

The third instalment Like Dolphins will take you to the Glast-spy-bury of Berlin, via Amsterdam with the BARBELL agents Breakspear and Kestrel in Autumn, 1989.
‘Trainspotting meets Cold War espionage’ ‘Withnail and Spy’ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ SPYBRARY

Whilst having lived as, among other things, a musician, painter, martial artist and educator, Onyx is more Take Five than ‘i5 these days and writes mainly from research and imagination.
In the midst of working on long form novels he occasionally blogs, posts and contributes to the spybrary podcast.
At the turn of the century there were expressive adventures in music, most of which is streaming currently on Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube.
Onyx is always at it, immersed in the whole process. The site menu provides a deeper dive into all of the above and more.
Contact us re availability of signed vinyl, digi-packs, original art and of course books.
